Azlan –
Could someone tell me more about the bike’s fuel consumption? I often embark on long journeys, and this could be a deciding factor.
Thomas Yap –
Dear Azlan, thank you for your interest in the KTM 1290 Super Adventure S (Used). This model is renowned for its efficiency, with a fuel consumption rate of approximately 4.7 liters per 100 km. This makes it an excellent choice for long journeys. However, please note that actual fuel consumption may vary depending on factors like terrain, riding style, and speed.

In terms of quality and durability, this motorbike truly stands above many others I’ve tried before. Despite being used, it still delivered an extraordinary performance.
Ravi Suresh –
Is the 6-speed transmission truly smooth even on rough terrain? How efficient is the PASC slipper clutch in this model?
Thomas Yap –
Hello Ravi Suresh, thanks for your interest in our KTM 1290 Super Adventure S (Used) model. As per the configuration, it has a 6-speed transmission which is designed to provide smooth and effortless shifting even in rough terrains. Additionally, the PASC (Power Assist Slipper Clutch) in this model greatly enhances the bike’s overall performance by reducing the force required to operate the clutch, hence making gear changes even more efficient. Hope this helps! If you have more questions, feel free to ask.
Tan Wei Ling –
Enquiring about the fuel consumption. At 4.7 liters/100 km, is it economical for frequent long-distance rides compared to similar models? Is the 23-litre fuel capacity adequate for a fully adventurous ride without refuelling?
Jacki –
Dear Tan Wei Ling, Thank you for your question! The KTM 1290 Super Adventure S (Used) offers a competitive fuel consumption of 4.7 liters/100 km, which can make it a suitable option for frequent long-distance rides. As for the 23-litre fuel capacity, it provides a reasonable range between refuels. However, the exact frequency of refueling would depend on various factors such as your riding style, the terrain, and conditions of the route. We recommend comparing these figures with similar models to make an informed decision. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any more queries.
Rosy –
Does anyone know how comfortable the seat is for longer journeys? And can the seat height be adjusted?
Dee Lee –
Hi Rosy! The KTM 1290 Super Adventure S (Used) has been designed with rider comfort in mind and many riders find the seat comfortable for longer journeys. However, comfort is subjective and can vary from person to person. The seat height is 860 mm. While the specific model doesn’t have an adjustable seat, there are after-market options available that could potentially alter the seat height. Thanks for your review!
Krishnan –
While being a bit pricey, the quality of the ride and overall performance made it a worthy investment for me. I would definitely consider buying it again.
Mohan Raj –
What’s the maintainability like for this bike? How frequent is the servicing required and how easily available are the genuine parts?
Dee Lee –
Hello Mohan Raj, thank you for your review and interest in our KTM 1290 Super Adventure S. The service intervals for this bike are usually around every 15,000 kilometers or once a year, whichever comes first. The availability of genuine parts typically isn’t an issue as KTM is a well-established brand with a large dealer network. However, we recommend getting in touch with the specific dealership or online stores for the most accurate availability and delivery timelines. We hope this helps. Feel free to ask if you have more questions.
Alexandra Tan –
Can the seat height be custom-adjusted? Asking as someone quite short, I’d like to know if adjustments can be done for those below average height.
Jacki –
Dear Alexandra Tan, thank you for your interest in our KTM 1290 Super Adventure S (Used). Seat height adjustments would largely depend on the model of the motorbike and may require additional modifications. We recommend visiting our service centre for expert assistance on this matter. Your comfort and safety are our priority.
