KTM Duke 690 ABS 2016

Ride into the future with the thrilling 2016 KTM Duke 690 ABS. This ground-breaking machine’s heart beats with a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 690 cc engine with liquid cooling system, capable of producing a generous torque of 74 Nm at 5500 rpm and a power output of 55 kW. All this power is delivered through a 6-speed transmission, managed by a hydraulically-actuated APTC(TM) slipper clutch for seamless shifts.

For a shuddering start, the Duke 690 ABS employs an electric starter, and keeps the ignition smooth with its Keihin EMS with RBW, twin ignition. Its impeccable cooling and forced oil lubrication systems, complete with 2 oil pumps, maintain optimal performance levels, even on the longest rides.

With the sleek trellis frame, powder-coated to perfection, the Duke 690 ABS weighs in at just 148.5 kg dry-weight, making it a lightweight yet sturdy companion for the roads. It offers a ground-clearance of 190 mm and a higher vantage point for the rider with a seat-height of 835 mm.

A unique feature of this bike is its Bosch 9M+ two-channel ABS (disengageable), ensuring superior control and safety. It runs on an X-Ring 5/8 x 1/4″ chain, and further benefits from a WP upside-down Ø 43 mm front suspension and a WP shock absorber with Pro-Lever linkage in the rear, providing 135 mm of travel for both.

To stop the beast, it features Brembo brakes- a four-piston radial fixed caliper front brake with a 320 mm disc diameter, and a single-piston floating caliper rear brake with a 240 mm disc diameter. The Duke navigates with a steering-head-angle of 63.5 degrees.

Fueled by a 14-liter tank, the KTM Duke 690 ABS is truly the perfect machine for those seeking thrills and exquisite design. Please note that CO2 emissions and fuel consumption data are currently not available.
