Can you please provide more information on the material used for the topcase carrier? Is it waterproof, and does it have any UV protection?

The topcase carrier is made from a high-quality ABS plastic that is durable and resistant to scratches. As for waterproofing, the topcase has a slight angle design that allows water to run off easily, making it suitable for use in light rain or wet conditions. However, we do not recommend submerging the topcase in water. Regarding UV protection, the ABS plastic used provides some level of protection against UV rays. While it is not fully UV-resistant, it should be able to withstand normal outdoor exposure without significant degradation. I’m still on the fence about purchasing this topcase carrier. Is it possible to add a locking mechanism or some extra security features to prevent theft?
