Introducing the thrilling new KTM 890 Adventure R ABS 2023. At the heart of this rugged machine lies a powerful 2-cylinder, 4-stroke DOHC engine, producing a torque of 100 Nm at 6500 rpm, all controlled smoothly by a 6-speed transmission. This beast isn’t just about power; its operation is cooled by a liquid system delivering consistent performance and endurance.

With 77 kW of raw power, the KTM Adventure R gets started instantly with an electric starter. Precision is ensured with a stroke of 68.8 mm and a bore of 90.7 mm, and this performance is capably managed by an advanced PASC antihopping clutch operated mechanically. Emitting an unavailable amount of CO2, it efficiently utilizes a displacement of 889 cc, managed by the Bosch EMS with Ride-by-wire technology.

Fuel consumption is kept to a minimum at 4.5 liters per 100 km, and this efficient performance is facilitated by a forced oil lubrication system with two oil pumps. The bike’s safety is powered by a Bosch 9.1 MP ABS, which includes Cornering-ABS and an offroad mode that can be disengaged. The KTM 890 Adventure R rides on a 520 X-Ring chain and weighs in at a dry weight of 196 kg.

The bike’s frame is a Chromium-Molybdenum-Steel design, using the engine as a stressed element, giving it a sturdy and reliable build. The stopping power comes from a set of 2x radially mounted 4-piston calipers in the front, and 2 piston floating caliper at the rear. The front brake disc diameter measures 320 mm and the rear brake disc diameter is 260 mm.

Equipped with a steering head angle of 63.7 degrees, the suspension travel available is an impressive 240 mm each for both the front and rear.
