I was a bit skeptical about spending so much on a helmet, but after using this SMX Basic Open Face Helmet for a few months, I can confidently say it’s worth every penny. The certifications give me peace of mind, and the quick-release chin strap makes it a breeze to take on and off. I’m really disappointed with my experience with this helmet. While I love the design and the clear visor, the liner started to smell after just a few washes – which is weird, since it’s supposed to be removable and washable…?
