What a fantastic upgrade for my Yamaha X-Max 250! The Öhlins STX36 Scooter Shock Absorber has made such a huge difference in terms of ride comfort and stability. I was initially skeptical about the price, but now I think it’s well worth it. The adjustable preload feature is also very useful, as I can adjust it according to my weight variation throughout the day.
What’s holding me back from giving this product a full 5-star rating is the price. While I can definitely see the quality and performance of the Öhlins STX36 Scooter Shock Absorber, it’s still quite expensive compared to other scooter shock absorbers on the market. That being said, I do think it’s worth the investment if you’re looking for a high-performance upgrade.
I’m still getting used to the Öhlins STX36 Scooter Shock Absorber on my Yamaha X-Max 300, but so far I’m really impressed. The shocks seem well-made and durable, and the adjustable rebound compression damping is a great feature. However, I do wish they had included a more detailed manual on how to adjust the preload – it took me some trial and error to get it right.
